Thank you 2015 & 2016 is AWESOME!

Last year was one of the very best yet!  I was workin!  I had the blessing of getting the opportunity to work alongside the great, Taylor Swift in her Wildest Dreams video , directed by Joseph Kahn. “Lions and tigers and bears?” If you’ve seen the video, it was more like lions and giraffes and elephants. And FYI, Taylor Swift is hands down one of the nicest in Hollywood (or Nashville for that matter).

The FOX smash it, Brooklyn Nine was as much fun to film as it was to watch. It was a struggle to keep a serious mug while working opposite Andy Samberg.

Rizzoli and Isles on TNT – I spoke entirely Latvian in this role. I know what you’re thinking? “Do I speak Latvian?” Not a lat! (sorry I couldn’t resist that pun.) Actually not at all but I learned it and got to work with Angie Harmon as well as Bruce McGill  (D-Day from Animal House!) Animal House is my favorite comedy of all time!

I got to to work with Nichelle Nichols ( Lt. Uhura  from Star Trek!) and the

-H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S Gilbert Gottfried in the upcoming feature Unbelievable!

Then there was “hot soup in the summer time  sketch”  with  Dennis Leary on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

On Thanksgiving Eve I received the call that I booked a role in the upcoming feature film, Nosferatu. Yup, I had to pick up a Transylvanian accent fast! Nosferatu is a remake of the original 1922 silent film. Which happened to be Hollywood’s very first vampire movie. The good news is that this version is a speakie. What impressed me with the project is that they are keeping the original movie in the new version but with the advent of the green screen, they’re replacing the original  actors with contemporary actors, in particular “yours truly”.

And I ended 2015 off with a bang! by booking  an entire week on the CBS prime time  sitcom, 2 Broke Girls.  Working  on 2 Broke and getting the opportunity to work in front of a live studio audience  is pretty much a  top career highlight to date. What a cast! Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs, Jonathan Kite, Matthew Moy and the one and only Jennifer Collidge. The ultimate however was getting the opportunity to spend a week with Saturday Night Live icon, Garrett Morris! The man is a prince! Not to mention with the shows creator and executive producer of Sex in the City, Michael Patrick King.

Stay tuned for my next blog entitled, “2016 Taking off like a chicken w/ a firecracker up its a–!
